Singapore, where everything is strictly controlled, isn't known for it's street art. Unlike most cities, the street art that exists here is not concentrated in any one particular location. One literally has to "hunt" down the random pieces of street art littered at the most unexpected of places. As is to be expected they are not of any one particular genre and are a hotch potch of different artists styles and ideas. Some are clearly commissioned works that depict a part of history that the authorities would like to showcase. The best works are to be found in the Haji Lane area
